Mehri Ghaffari is a multidisciplinary artist and jewelry designer whose work bridges the elegance of Persian heritage with contemporary design. Since beginning her practice in 2011, she has worked primarily in silver, transforming the metal into bespoke pieces inspired by poetry, names, and the organic textures of nature. Each creation is not merely an ornament but a poetic narrative, reflecting both cultural memory and personal identity. Her artistic foundation is enriched by experience in graphic design, photography, and sculpture, allowing her to approach jewelry-making as a holistic art form, where composition, balance, and visual rhythm are as essential as craftsmanship. In 2018, she co-founded Kouben, a design collective, and collaborated with it until 2023. This experience reflects a chapter of her creative journey while maintaining her independent artistic path.

Biography

For Mehri, jewelry transcends adornment. It is a vessel for storytelling—a meeting point between material and meaning.

Her works embody the raw beauty of nature, the subtle power of language, and the timeless grace of Persian artistry, all while resonating with a contemporary sensibility. Each piece is a testament to her belief that jewelry is where craftsmanship becomes poetry, where art finds its most intimate form: worn close to the body, yet speaking universally.
